I have a 83 that the motor is strong, but being that I bought a brand new head from engbuilder and just finished rebuilding a 22re I would like to put it in the 83 sans efi. I am of the understanding that the block hieght is shorter in the newer model 22re due to the flat piston etc, but will it fit in the 83 and are there any modifications that will need to be made aside from getting an 85 intake to except the carb off the 83. Tried searching and if it has been answered elsewhere apologies but I couldnt really find what I was looking for. Thanks in advance
