93 22re idle problems - now won't start
Hey guys,
So my recently rebuilt 22re is idling poorly. If I start it cold it fires right up but idles high @ 1500 rpms. Then, I drive around, get out, do some grocery whatnots and fire her back up and it idles at around 500 rpms. Sometimes it dies out.
So I figure that a quick fix might be the fuel filter. Got the part looked up how to do it on here and realized it's not so easy. So I spent about 1.5 hours getting the fuel filter swapped. Drove her around and it seemed to be idling better. Got home did somethings then had to run back out to get rock salt or something stupid and the truck wouldn't start.
The fuel filter isn't leaking, is it possible that I crimped one of the lines? And, what's up with all the banjo bolt hype? I didn't seem to have any issues with that. Maybe I installed those wrong?
Thanks
