I have a 92 v6 sr5 toyota 4 runner. The SR5 V6 engine is newly rebuilt;it is what was replaced with after the old engine seized before i was the owner. I want to one day: put a 3-4 inch lift kit on it, swap the v6 out for a v8 or v10, possibly add a turbo, cold air intake and replace the Auto transmission with a Manual. I was wondering if those modifications were possible on my vehicle? I want my truck to be fast and as well have some off-roading credibility. If those mods are possible would anyone know a cost estimate? I was thinking around 5grand if i could sell or trade in my engine. Thanks

 

5k might get you the v8 swap done , all the mods can be done but it's going to be way more then 5k for all of that better think it out a while longer.

 

Yeah how naive. Is it really possible to add a v10 and a turbo charger in a 92 4 runner? Wont there be massive space and heat issues? Would there still be enough room for electric fans and a cold air intake? OR would they fit in nicely?
