I just had the oil changed on my 91 4runner 3l v6 substituting 2l of oil for 2l of Lucas stabelizer (I figured it would be good for the engine at 168230mi) and a few days later the CEL has come on. Since the oil service the only change in performance has been an improvement in accelleration and freeway speed. I linked over to http://www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/codes/index.html and followed the instructions and came up with codes 25, 26, 41 and 43. I am not already a mechanic so I usually find the manuals as confusing as helpful if not more so. I was hoping for some plain english advice on how to proceed.
