89 runner

I have a 89 4runner and the l peice under the side windows is rusting and i wanted to now how to remove them?

the L trim?? i would think you might have to take off the top... i dont know when my family had a 86.. we owen it for close to 20 years and never took the top off once!

the window frame holding the two sliding windows? its glued in.
