89 4runner need help

I just did i timing chain replacement on my 89 4runner, 22re.

buttoning her back up i have coolant draining out of the oil pan. I filled the coolant before i put the drain pan plug in and heard it.

The valve cover didnt have ANY wear on it. so i know there is no hole from chain wear.

New timing cover gaskets, new water pump, all new seals.

wtf?!

i replaced it because it has been missing when cold. When i pulled the valve cover, there was slack in the drivers side of the chain.

I assumed that the tensioner has been worn out, or stuck, and/or the chain was streched. i replaced it all just in case.

The chain guides had VERY little wear on them. The tensioner had some decent grooves in it.

I made sure the gaskets were sealing around the passages, and added some FIPG to be sure.

reassembled, and added water. leaking through oil pan. WTF????

also, this leak is intense. more like a major loss of fluid. if i tried to start it, it would be catastrophic. help!!!!

very stupid question, but are you sure you added the coolant to the top of the radiator and not the oil cap?
