I have a 89 4runner with a 88 3L V6. It was running good and I parked it for the night and in the morning it just cranks over fine but wont start. after a lot of money in fuel parts I pulled a plug and no spark. I then jumped T and E1 in the diag. box and my CEL blinked the code 14. I read on her code 14 is the ignition coil or igniter. The igniter is placed just above the cylinder like ignition coil. so I changed the ignition coil and still no spark and code 14. The igniter could be it right? its a $500 part so I want to ask opinions first. Any help here would be much appreciated.
