87 4runner lift question
My son has an 87 4runner that he wants to put a 3"-4" lift on. I dont keep up with the toyota info since it is his truck, so I was hoping you guys that did could help me find a kit for Christmas.
I was considering the tuff country 4" kit, as i am have seen it for ok prices and its what the local Les schwab quoted. Online i have seen them for about 800.00 shipped not including shocks.
Should i be looking at a different kit?
Also how hard are they to install. I have the garage and tools, plus i just got done swapping in a new long block in the 4 runner this week. Will it be easier than an engine swap?
Thanks for helping me wiht my kids truck

If your son is totally set of a huge bracket lift, I like the pro-comp stage 2. The only thing I don't like about the kits are almost all of them only provide lift blocks for the rear, which suck. But if he is just going for the look of a lifted truck, I say pro-comp.
