Went to drive my truck, and driver door would not unlock with key. Key would only turn a small amount in either direction. Got in passenger side, and couldn't unlock driver side by pulling up on lock button. Button barely moved. Rolled window down, would only go down about halfway at most. Any tips? I there a way to open the door with no- or minimal damage? Any help greatly appreciated. Thx-PatB
UPDATE-After posting, "Related Posts" popped up below my post. One post recommended bumping the door hard, while turning the key. It worked! Sort of. The outer handle still wont open the door, but the inner handle does open it. Will still have to do some fixing, but I wont have to do it with the seat in the way. And I don't have to start today- I can open the door by reaching through the wind wing- no crawling over bucket seat and console. Ha! Thanks YotaTech, you saved the day!
