I have a w56 manual transmission it will not go into first or second gear, but it will go into every other gear and into reverse. Hi took the shift her off and noticed that the transmission fluid had water in it and also it looked really creamy so I emptied it out and put new transmission fluid in it. I was wondering what some recommendations could be why it’s not going into gear if I did all that could it be because I have a bad transmission or could it be something else?
