Hi, anyone know if the front bumper from an '84 4x4 will fit my '93 4x4? Somehow I don't think so - '89 and newer, right?

I have a chance at a nice black front bumper off an '84, or a chrome one from a '91. Both are in good condition, but I like black better. $30 ea.
Searched a bit, but didn't find that specific info re. years.

anything can be made to fit, but a 2nd gen bumper would look wierd on a 3rd gen.
yes, 89-95.5 would work better.

get the one for the 91, sand it and paint it...

 

If its the black your after, why not just paint yours?

Thanks, guys....thought so. Mine is rusted out on the driver's side (like everything else, LOL!) so it's junk. Rather than try to fix it, better to just scrap it.

The chrome one is from a 91, so I'll go with it. Might sand/paint it, not doing it til spring, anyway and I'm a professional painter, so not hard to do!
