Help ! I have a 81 Toyota pickup and I need to replace the window regulator on the drivers side. All the window regulators I have found only go back to 84. Are they different design ? They sure look the same. Thanx

But, I don't know. What I do know is that junkyards, and the classifieds here, and on marlincrawler.com will probably get you a used version of what you need from the correct vehicle. That's where I got mine for my 83.

 

Check for the used parts sticky in the newbie tech section, it has links for multiple sources.
Also keep in mind the vent window regulator is different than the full glass regulator.
