80 yota needs another fuel tank

80 yota needs another fuel tank
Hey I need suggestions please. My 1980 4x4 pickup needs another fuel tank with sending unit and pickup tube. I’ve been searching and all I can find is a new one from Japan. Way too much money. ??? Thanks

I know a few companies make after market tanks then you get what you pay for.
Another idea measure the space you have and see if any of the newer years can be made to fit
Depending where you live a used one might be very hard to find. Amount of Winter Chemicals seen.
Here most used autopart vendors put a hole in the tank to drain the gas .
It depends just how much money is in your budget.

Early 90s 2wd tank will bolt right in if your truck is a short box. I believe you would need a fuel pressure regulator to not over fuel your carb though. I'm running a '92 2wd in my SB '83 for my 3rz swap.
