I'm not exactly a mechanic but I'm guessing my electronic fuel pump on my 79 toyota pickup has gone bad.
Over the past month i noticed a clicking sound getting louder and louder and traced it back to the electric pump on the side of the tank. It didn't ever idle bad or stall out, but one day did not want to start anymore. Thought it was out of gas but guessed wrong.

So it's the fuel pump right?! I looked at it and it looks relatively easy to replace and I think i've found a replacement if someone can confirm this should be the problem and the right decision to buy this part. Any feedback would help!

I forgot to add that I tried the hold hit the pump with something trick. I had my friend try to start while i whacked it and it actually almost turned over, which is why i think it's this part.
