I have been trying to install another driver side CV axle,some way I put the back end in first but couldn't get the spline end in. When I went to pry the back end of the 6 studs I accidentally popped off the back of the axle tulip joint and a little of grease ran out. I got the axle removed again but the popped off end doesn't want to stay attached as I try to re install it. Is this okay or is it ruined? Or will the nuts hold it in place once i finally get it installed correctly? I'm not a mechanic but I am trying and that is why this project is taking forever. I am just trying to get the 4runner back on the road in a safe condition. Any help or knowledge will be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance.
