4L Speeds/RPM'S

Okay so I'm totaling new to 4WD, so new in fact that a rough country road has been my only 4x4 experience and that was just test out the 4WD. Anyway this may seems like a stupid question but I have to ask and my searching netted no info. What is a 4low top speed and rpm's, my rpm's climbed quite quickly when in 4low and quickly heavy on the gas, but my sped didn't increase that rapidly. As I said it may seems a stupid question to you veterans but I needs to know.

Thanx,
Derek

4low is so you can go slow over obstacles and produce more torque to do so. I guess 4lo's top rpm's is redline, and however fast you can get into top gear.

The fastest i usually go in 4lo and 5th gear is around 30mph.

4low is for low speed driving. Don't bother if you need to use any gear over 3rd.

With the truck in 4low you can literally crawl at idle over stuff, gear reduction is awsume!

Also, make sure you don't coast fast with the truck in 4low and tranny in gear with the clutch in.
