Procomp is a fine kit for medium duty offroad.

That kit you posted is sdori ball joint spacers. They are not made by pro comp just the shocks and add a leafs are. Im running ball joint spacers, 3" body lift, abd some t-bar crank. i got about 6" of lift out this and can easily fit 35's. this set up has been decent cause it was inexpensive and i really dont have the time or money for a sas. lol

I've always lived by the quote

"Lift as much as you need, but as little as possible"

You'll soon find out that these trucks are very capable without a lift. you'd get more results with lockers, gears and armor.

oh and i deff think you should get armor, lockers, and gears first. Whats the point of having bigger tires if you dont have enough power to push em. i wish i would of went this route before buying my lift and tires.

The gears are the key, you can have a the nice big lifts and tires but if you dont gear to match then you will be kickin yourself later. You will have no power and will be screwed when you get offroad. I have 4.5" suspension lift 35" tires and 4.88 gears with detroit lockers and not only does my rig look good but it kicks butt offroad.

I can cruise at 70mph and it starts gettin a bit rough between 75 and 80. First gear does creep. Its not quite a granny gear but close, would probably act more like one if I had a bigger engine.

Yes it is a five speed, when Im in 4lo and first gear I can barely tell Im moving. But in rocks it gives me all the torque I need.

my 4.88 do good with my 37s i love the way it runs all the way to fourth.....i can roll 70 (what my speedo reads) and run about 3000rpms...but i agree i wish i would of done locker instead of bigger tire because who cares how big they are if only one spins haha dont make the same mistake as me though get a locker at the same time as gears

Unless you mainly use your rig offroad I dont suggest the detriots or lockrite locker. My truck is my dd and I chirp my tires alot. Although a manual locker does cost quite abit more. And its hard to break a detroit.

i go mudding alot and when its hunting season my truck sees mud on a daily basis. lol but i have an automatic not a 5 speed. thats the main reason im getting the 5.29's. also i have locking hubs so i wont feel the front locker until i lock my hubs. i also wont mind the chirping here and there cause i dont have the money for a selectable locker, im just a broke 17 year old with a yota. lol

Wow an automatic, thats a rare word when it comes to old yotas. I to am 17 which is why I have the detroits. I was going to get lockrite lockers but found a guy selling the new detroits unused for 300 a peice due to him deciding to go with auburn lockers instead. And offroad with your hubs locked you wont notice the front locker much. And you only chirp when turning from a dead stop or slow roll and you have to accelerate while turning.
