3vze EFI Problem
#1
Hey,
So I have this VERY irritating problem on my '92.
When I first start the truck up in the morning when the motor is cold. The truck runs fine idles high till it warms up ect. and even when I drive it down the road. BUT after a while not sure exactly when but problt 15 mins into driving it.
in between 1 and 2 grand it will I think its a missfire... it just chokes and sputters... but anywhere above 2 grand it runs fine.
The other night I was up in the hill playing in the mud and it started acting up and I got pissed off and just ralleyd the hell out of it and it seems to have a hard time reving over 4 grand. and eventually it got the the point to where when I was driving home if I gave it any gas to accel it would just bog dwn. and if I turn the key off then back on and restart the truck. it goes awya for like 5 - 10 mins and then back to bogging dwn.
Ive changed the MAF out and readjusted the tps, also tried different ECU's.
the only engine code its giving me is EGR valve malfunction - but thats cuz I blocked it all off. and its always said that even back when it ran normal.
If I cross the TE1 and E1 ports in the diagnostics plug the truck seems to not missfire in that rpm range "as bad"
Ive readjusted my timing ...
Im just plain out of ideas.
Would the fuel pump maybe going out and when I turn my key on/off it starts it back up or somthing?
Thanks,
Tyler
