Would be slower tha a dog. Re-gear to 5.29's or 5.71's. I mean, sure it'll work, but be slower than cold molasses on a wet morning

I've got 35's and 4.10's, she is slow to get going but once she's moving she isn't too slow.

I ran 34s with 4.56s, a little slow off the line, but top end rocked, plus the speedo was spot on

I'm running 31s with the 4.56s now, rocket off the line, but 3K @ 70mph on the highway

no way!

I have a 91 extra cab PU with the 3vz V6 and it has 35's with 529's. Used to run 488's and it was a dog off the line, pretty good on the highway. Daily driver if you do 70+ it was ok, but I love the low end torque that I get now with the lower gears.
Do it right the first time, having someone else work on your third members is expensive.

It crawls fine offroad top end will suffer though.

Well I run 33x12.50 15 swampers with 456 gears and it does just fine until i hit the rocks - need 4.7 gears in the transfer but I'm going to run 35's when my tires are done.....
