33x10.50?

okay Yotatech, ive been searching on here for about an hour now looking at threads about 33x12.50 and 33x10.50s. 10.50 sounds to me like its the way to go. ive got 3inch of lift all together jsut not on it yet. would the 10.50s rub with that much lift? i know the 12.50s will. what would you guys do in this situation? also is bfg and ss the only companies that make 33x10.50? and if any of yo uguys have any pics of a 89-95 yota with 3inches of lift and 33x10.50s that would be great i found a few on google but thats about it. thanks i appreciate any help.

I have an 89 T4R with 31 x 10.5's with no lift and have no problem. I would say that if you are putting on 3" of lift you would be fine on clearence, just maybe not HP.

Pic included.

It'l look fine. 33x10.50" tires can be fitted STOCK with no lift. You will be able to clear them easily. BFG makes a 33x10.50" mud terrain.

I'm running 33x10.5 BFG All Terrains on my 4Runner with no lift in the front and Old Man Emu springs in the rear. I did run the truck without the new springs in back and had no issues with the 33" tires.

If you wheel it with the 33s you may want to do some mild clearance trimming on the front wheel wells and massage the fire wall with a bfh.

I fit 33x12.5's with NO lift and a pinchweld pounding, it doesn't rub at all, unless Im out wheeling I'll be putting on my 3" body lift sometime soon. If you want a wider tire, go for it, they won't rub that bad. With the body lift it won't rub at all anytime, all you need to fit 33x12.5's is pinchweld pounding,2-3" of lift, and a tire with 3.75" BS..

yea i love the way the 33x12.50 looks on a yota. and the wheel i got now has 3.75 BS. i was thinkin about after i put the 3inch susp on i might run a 2inch or maybe even 1inch BL so it wont rub at all. my buddy has a 99 tacoma with 3inch body and 3inch suspensioin and 33x12.50s and they still rub!

Tacoma's fenderwell and firewall clearance is asscrap compared to the pre tacoma's if I had just two inches of lift I wouldn't rub AT ALL. Get a hammer, nuff said.

My tires still rub on the inner fender a little. If I ran wheels with 4" backspacing I wouldnt have a problem.

My 35 by 12.50s barely rub on the front pinch weld with a 2 inch BL and BJ spacers, and in my case it's height not width that cause rub at max flex and turning.
