2wd break down...
As it turns out, the timing chain wasn't busted after all. The gears look fine, haven't dropped a rod, I really can't figure out for the life of me what went wrong. Anyone have any ideas?
Here's what it did for anyone that doesn't know:
I parked to walk into a gas station for an ice-cold beverage. Came back out, hopped into my truck content as could be, cranked her up. As usual, she started right up. But it ran for only about 3-4 seconds, and I heard what sounded like something like a belt, chain, or any long object rotating at high speeds snapped and proceeded to slap/scratch/hit around until the engine stopped running (2-3 seconds) I proceeded to turn the key to start it, and just heard an electrical wheeeeee (kindof a whirring sound) maybe the starter spinning around at high velocity.....which brings me to this conclusion....Do you think the flywheel could've busted??
