I currently have a 82 4x4 frame that is beyond repair. Would i be able to use a 79-83 2wd frame? I dont know if all the suspension mounts are the same or not. I can fab new ones but would rather not. I did a search and didnt find anything for this specific question, they were all doing the 90s frame swap

 

mounts will be different..suspension, crossmembers, steering box etc
you will be doing a lot of fab work...
