2nd Gen diff in 1st gen??

I have a set of front and rear gears 5.29 that are on a 2nd gen 3rd member. front and rear.

I also have some front torsion bars for the second gen as well.

So what I would like to know is;

Will the diff-3rd's fit into a 1st gen?
Will the Torsion bars work?

Spec;
2nd Gen: 1994 3.0 V6, auto, IFS 4x4
1st Gen: 1987 22RE, 5 speed, IFS 4x4

Last, what if any differences are there in front suspensions? Were the arms or anything changed?

I made some arms for the 94, and now I want to build the 87. The 1st gen just seems cooler.

Thank you for your help guys! I tried to search but could not find what I was looking for. Must not have the right combination of words...

as long as your replaceing the whole 3rd (not just the gear set) you'll be fine. any 3rd form 79-95 thats 8" will fit...

i am not sure about the T-bar question.... i am not sure what the advantage of swapping tbars woudl be.

Thank you!

Oh I forgot to mention that the T-bars are Downey. Not just swapping stock for stock.

THANKS!!
