I have been using this site for research for a couple of years finally gonna join and post. Thanks for your help in advance

Got a question on Exhaust, been to every post seems like on this site and others. But no the detail I need. I will start a build up thread for my runner, but just need the exhaust questions answered. So here we go......



Called muffler shop asked for quote with Flowmaster 40 and high flow magna flow cat. They said $325 - $350 USD, not considering if it needs Cali Standard, could be $1000 if California standard. I live in Colorado, it is a Colorado 4runner bought here never left, should not even be in the equition right?


Also going to go 2.25, as people say will not lose any bottom end.

So I want to just buy the parts and show up either at that shop or another shop and say make it work. Hopefull for like $100 minus the parts I buy.


Here are the parts, will the center/center muffler work or do i need offset either way?

Will I need to do anything with the O2 Sensor or will the shop handle that, should be in front of these two parts anyway right?

Honestly? Dont mess with the catalytic converter. upgrade your piping to 2 1/4 and put a nice tip and muffler in it... you'll be fine.

 

It has like 180K on it, figure if I am in there, should upgrade it....But Will try with out...Thanks.
