22re running rough

So I just replaced my head gasket, timing chain, desmogged, (I don't need emissions) distributor, plugs, wires, coil, and afm. I also have adjusted my valves and my tps not all at once. but after I got everything back together it ran like crap and each thing I replaced made it run better. I also installed a pacesetter header. I adjusted my tps yesterday and that was a big improvement but I still have a slight studder when excelerating, I have a brand new fuel filter in, I searched around and between pirate and here got lots of tips and had some good pointers from some of the guys here. My project for today is going to be checking the fuel pressure but if anyone has any suggestions I would appretiate it. From what I have been reading it could possibly be o2 sensor related? I know its a long post but I want to get this issue worked out and get wheeling again I have a 1992 p/u 22re 32x11.5 with 4.56 gears I'm sure there are typos I just got off work and am not going to bother fixing them thanks in advance

EGR plugged?

Disconnect the egr vacuum line and see if it smooths out. It fixed my 22re before I pulled it out to do a 3.4L swap.

I am assuming your CEL is on have you checked what codes are throwing. That will help keep you from replacing stuff that might not be broken.

You might have said that, it was a long post. If so disregard, if not let us know what codes

Wheels 43 I removed my egr system but I know what your saying it can get stuck open and run rough
Thefishguy77 My CEL is not on I tried checking the codes but I'm a little confused on how my haynes manuel said there is a plug by the ignition coil which there isn't but I read on here that you put a jumper to the same connectoers as you would to set the timing which I tried and all I got was a steady continious flashing of the CEL with the key on... Thanks for the suggestions/help

Check fuel pressure also it wouldn't hurt to do another fuel filter just to see if this new one is clogged already. I so you might have bad sediment build up in your tank. Just kinda guessing but fuel pressure is probably the next best thing to check. Also log shot but how dirty was your intake plenum when you took your egr off. Of you tried to clean it, it's possible that you have carbon loose in there interfering with your fuel delivery. Still just guessing.
