i'm going to go back to saying, not a turbo 22re guy, so i'm not sure on whats factory. but i would imaging the injectors that you're running are low-impedance (peak-and-hold) and of a higher flow rate than what came in the n/a 22re (more likely high-impedance, lower flow rate)

you're ecu things it's putting in "x" amount of fuel, but it isn't. it won't be putting in what it should either.

you houldn't be running it until you get the turbo ecu. start searching junkyards, try some online ones.

like ive said time and time again stock 22ret ecu with 22ret afm your stock harness re do ur injector plugs to ur stock ones so u can get a set of 7mgte injectors and get them rebuilt and install them.

just cuz ur blowing black smoke doesnt mean ur not running lean but ive given my .02 cents so guess let us know when the motor blows

http://www.ebay.com/itm/85-TOYOTA-PI...e4ddc5&vxp=mtr

here u go buy this ecu.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/toyota-supra...f657c6&vxp=mtr

these injectors

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-UEGO-Dig...9981e3&vxp=mtr

this wide band

and run stock boost it be best for tunning if u got a 5mge afm and swap the electronic;s out with urs and then adjust the afm wheel as needed to get ur afr's right like i said a wideband would do u alot of good.then later when u want to run more then stock boost5-6psi get a water methanol kit from devils own for $345 and a turbo cam something like .440 lift 220-230 @.050 duration and a 114 lobe center the lobe center is the biggest factor. when comes to the cam i can post one on ebay with some rv springs for 200 for u if ud like sence u cant send me a core cam. wih this set up u should make some nasty power ill have my celica turboed soon so ill let u know what kinda power u can exspect

i had the turbo ecu the hole time with one larger connector and two small connecters but my harnees was all cut up and my buddy gave me a ecu and harness with a small medium and large connector. Thats why i didnt use the turbo ecu but i am interested in the injectors. Whats the difference from a stock turbo injector and a 7mgte 440cc injector. just curious. my compression is 1.170 2.150 3.150 4.150. Does this matter i know your suppose to have lower compression but a guy told me id be find since its just a stock turbo

the difference in injectors is 300cc's to 440cc's single whole spray vs four whole spray. so about the compression cranking compression dont mean ˟˟˟˟ when it comes to real compression depending on how much u shaved the block in ur rebuild and ahead but u sound be between 9:1 to 9.5:1 which is ok with about 6 psi itll help make up for the lagy turbo ct20. its just most guy that do what ur doing do upgrade injectors or change ecu's or afm's and with out changing those there motors a a ticking time bomb.

Ok and I will have to rebuild my old harness that is cut up to make it work for the turbo ecu but I have enough harness parts to do that just going to take some time. I didnt have to block or the crank shaved. I just put new main and rid bearings in it reconditioned the rod new rings and a reconditioned head
