I'm pretty new to Toyotas but do have a fair bit of turbo experience via a 94 mustang and a really scary 74 vw beetle.
I would suggest converting all things that control fuel to stock turbo Yota gear save for the, I assume, larger 7mgte injectors. I agree with the other folks that you will require more fuel due to the higher comp. ratio of the 22re. The turbo components will compensate for the additional air being pumped in when on boost by adding fuel, hopefully, keeping pre-ignition at bay.
And now, I betray my ignorance of Toyotas. Are the stock ecu's reprogrammable like my old mustang was? If so, I would suggest having it tuned by a reputable shop to avoid grenading your newly rebuilt motor. Good luck!! Gotta love hearing a spooled turbo!

82 supra is PNP as well, this is the only year that is bigger and compatible with the 22rte. All the other years, you have to take out your old electronics and swap it in the supras AFM

7mgte injectors will be pnp if u have a 88-95 harness the only thing u have to do is change plug ends. but u must be using the 22ret ecu if ur going to use the 7mgte injectors

I read a guy used rx7 injectors, just need to change the elect plugs
I was also reading that RC Engineering makes low imp 400cc/440cc inj for the RTE, but that ˟˟˟˟s expensive!

Yea, That's true. If it was a boosted engine all ready and he was just swapping turbos or something then I'd understand. But putting a Turbo onto an NA engine is just gonna be a hack job if you don't go to some kind of management IMO.

You need to do a LOT more research before jumping into this too far. You need to run a standalone FMS, otherwise you will be wasting your money and doing it all over again. You will have more headaches than horsepower. Not to mention you'll be rebuilding the motor in no time. I don't mean to sound like an @$$ but I've spent countless hours figuring this stuff out. There is a lot more involved than it looks like at first, might as well do it right the first time.
