86 toyota pickup stock 22rtec im rebuilding the motor and found my head it tost and it had already been shaved 20 thousands pretty much beyond repair now can I put run a 22re head with still running the turbo without hurting anything its all stock with just new parts bearings rings exc???

 

I think you can Just make sure to get the newer style head like your 86 then look at both the heads side by side.

I would guess your going to have the head rebuilt or just go with a new one from Engine Builder.

I really don`t have time to look till over the weekend

 

Only thing I know is the combustion chamber is 30cc smaller on the 22re so bumping my compression from 7.5.1 to 8.0.1
