looking to buy a 1980 Toyota 4x4 20R for $300 it runs and drives but it is sluggish. Im am looking at replacing the engine but am not having any luck finding many 20R engine dealer so I was looking to maybe swap in a 22R if possible. if I do put in a 22R what else do I need to swap?

 

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, too bad nobody ever posted any more info here. if you have found out anything new, please keep me informed. The only thing I can think of that might also need to be swapped is the bell housing.
