2011 Tacoma and TRD package?

so why do you want to shoot at Airborne? Did you bounce on Fryer DZ? or swimming in the Gulag
I had an '05 TRD OR DC SB. I loved the Elocker. it was great. but not really worth the extra money. Re- gear and do your ARB at the same time and throw some 305's or 315's on it.
I had a K&N intake for about 6 months, the interior noise was bad, it sounded like a turbine and my butt dyno couldn't tell much difference in horsepower and mileage was the same. Sold it on ebay for more that I paid for it
test drove the DC Long bed, sucked in parking lots, it was like trying to park a Suburban.
I still regret letting my wife talking me into trading the truck in for a more 'family' orientated vehicle...

You are %100 correct about the DC long bed in the parking lot, but I would say it is more like a school bus that a Suburban. It make the turning radius seem huge, I always just park at the back of the lot.
I still love my Tacoma and plan to keep it for a long time, will be sending off the final payment in January and she is mine for real! Pic just for fun.

Thanks ocdropzone & yotarob2005. I was afraid the DC long bed was going to be a beast to turn around and drive. I still have to test drive both.
I use trucks for hunting, hauling wood, 4 wheeler, and the short beds are just so short..... Well duhh right?????
This new 2011 is going to be just another truck. I have an 89 and it is my wheeling and all around work horse. Once the warrenty is out then comes the lift, tires, bumber and maybe a winch (already have a wife).
Anyone else have info please drop in. So far looks like just get the SR5 package and upgrade to the performace parts I want when I want.
Thanks
Aaron

i just bought a 2011 Tacoma Double cab 4x4 TRD SPORT. Its nice, much better ride than my 86 straight axled 4runner, I went with the sport package because it s a DD. I do take it off road, as far as loading firewood in it, but nothing crazy. Over all I love the truck, needs to have better tires though. Any ideas what size tires a stock taco can handle comfortable? The sport package as so has hand free phone hook up, upgrade JBL stereo which is awesome, and a little different suspension set up under it.
