2003 Limited Runner Project

Im looking to start building up my runner and was looking for suggestion on where to start? Some people say armor some people say lift, just want some input.

i would say tires and lift. then locker(s), armor.but it just depends on what you're gonna use it for. more info is needed. whats your plan?

Just trail ridding mostly. Im not looking to put anything over 33" on it. I guess the final product is just wanting to be able to go where ever i pretty much feel like

haha pictures never hurt. but yeah i think for what you want lift and and good set of tires. lots of people run goodyear KM2'S. but its really personal preference. for going "anywhere" lockers are good for getting that job done and armor (bumpers,sliders, ect.) OH! and lights offroad lights and rock lights are a good thing to have too

Unless you start with the lift, you won't be able to get much larger tires to fit. I have 3" ICON lift. I went with the Total Chaos upper control arms ICON coilovers, Stage 1 in the rear as well Longer coils and shocks. Consider some sliders at some point as well.

Hope this give you some ideas, I have had this truck going on 10 years, a work in progress. I have taken it into some serious off-road parks and have not had any problems. These trucks are really capable without big tires and lockers.
