$200 Battery Cable?
#2
There's a lot of pieces on it, not just the single wire. The wiring usually comes complete, so anything that's taped in the harness from the factory comes along with it. You can always have a stereo shop put a new end on the existing wire, or make you a new one.
Almost any stereo shop will have a heavy duty crimping tool, plus gold plated contacts, and 4ga wiring...
That said, I prefer genuine Toyota battery terminals over almost any other kind, with the possible exception of VW ones.

Its normal, becuase on the 5vz its not just the battery cable. There are a host of wires and plugs in the positive cable harness assy.
You can likely find one at a wrecking yard for cheaper than that.
