I have a 1998 4runner with a damaged front bumper. I prefer the look of the 1999 bumpers but I am not sure if it will fit correctly. Has anyone done this before? thanks

 

from what i know it should.. but dont go on my judgement.. wait for an exact answer before you do something like that.

 

thanks, yeah everything seems to be the same except for the bumper blinkers but a little wiring mod and it should work fine.

 

yeah im still in the 3rd gen pickup and 2nd gen 4runner group so i dont know as much as others would with 95+ runners.. i do know that there were years that they had extra support behind the bumper so it sticks out a lot further...i think thats 2000 and up though.
