1993 Toyota 4x4 P/U V6 ?'s

Hi all, newb to the forums.. first post actually. I came across a Toyota (see title) that I'm very interested in. My main concerns are with the power and drivetrain of the vehicle.

Is the V6 of that year durable?

Will I need to worry about the moving parts with big wheels and sand?

Suspension is next on the list.. but I'll have to drive it to figure out if I need to change anything for the beach (probably not).

There is some rust on a fender and the hood.. so no biggie, those can be replaced easily. Over 200k miles, SR-5, aftermarket exhaust (from the headers back), thicker torsin bars in the front, beefier leaf springs in the back, camper shell and a truck box.

He is asking $2,200.

I figure $2,000 cash and I'd pick it up.

Worth it?

EDIT: 5-Speed manual transmission.

Ask when and/or if the Head gasket recall has been done.
The 3vze is notorious for HG failure

How can I ask that question without walking into a potential to be lied to?

THANKS A MILLION!!!!!!!!!

That will be a BIG selling point. If it has yet to be done what do you think I could offer as a reasonable price since I'd have to do the work myself.

Thanks,
E
