1988 Toyota 4x4 Pickup 6 cyl 5 speed HELP

Greetings All,
Just signed up new to this. My 88 Toy pickup has a code of 52, check engine light is on after about 1700 RPM's

After researching the net, people say the knock sensor wires come out on the left side of the intake above the head, TRUE or FALSE ?

The only wires I find are from the left (drivers) side are injectors wire harness. I do not see any other loose wires or plugs either.

The Block was changed 2 years ago (B-4 I bought this truck) and I found out that the check engine bulb was removed, so maybe the knock sensor wiring is GONE ? Don't know.

In any case if the wires are not there can I find them from the harness on the right side of the engine compartment and slice a new pigtail in ?

I read a guy welded a bracket on the top of the motor to screww the KS into and rewired and it wirked fine?

Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance
