WTB 1994 SR5 low miles, ex cond.

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a "new" daily driver and have narrowed it down to this....1994 SR5, would prefer ex cab, low mileage, NO RUST, as nice as I can possibly find, prefer white color with factory graphics....willing to pay fair price for the right truck..will consider any real nice 94..if you know of one let me know thru PM ...thanks Kevin

You aren't going to find one around here.... Last year I looked hard for a clean 89-95 extended cab and couldn't find anything worth buying and wound up finding a clean but high miles 96 Tacoma so I bought it. For a lot less that the older trucks I was looking at too. If you're willing to travel I would suggest checking out craigslist in Portland Oregon. I can't believe how many nice older trucks seem to reside out there. Wish I could sell my Tacoma and my 89 and take a road trip.

I hear you...I just spent a week in Sacramento CA and couldn't believe all the older rigs still on the road out there, I've been checking the western states Craigs and that is where they all are.....would be willing to spend $1500 on shipping for the right truck.....I'll keep looking....

Seriously, the time spent on bodywork is worth that to me. I can make 1500 a lot faster than I can fix rust. I'm still patching on my 94, really sick of it.

Been down the rusty truck route before....never again....so much eaiser to start with a nice rust free body.....the only problem I have with buying off Craigs out of state is as soon as I tell them I'm from Mass. they automatically think its a scam......

Well don't bother checking out the white 92 on craigslist in Weare, NH. Sounded good on the phone but it was the rustiest truck with zero rust I had ever seen. Frame was mint though and it was unmolested. But I could have put my fist through the rockers on both sides. And the corners of the doors and bottoms of the fenders were rusty on both sides. Guy didn't seem to even know. Oh well 2.5 hours out of my day wasted. If it was $1500 I might have bought it anyway. But for $3500 the guy was out of his mind.
