incase you dont know im restoring my 85 pickup with all the original parts, today i hooked up the radio that was under the seat of the truck, but it is an am/fm/cassette aftermarket radio from the late 80's

long story short im looking for an original radio to install in my truck. does anybody have one or know where i can get one??

an am radio will work just fine but i would prefer one with cassete on accounta' they dont play my kinda music (classic 70's honkytonk and bluegrass) round here, nd i like cassete's better then cd's or those dang i-pod doohickey things.

I have a 2 piece radio the top is am/fm and the bottom in a tape deck. Removed from a 90. I can send you photos on saterday if needed. Im out of town right now.

LOL, but just to rule out confusion, i'm actually looking for 2 radio's for a second gen truck.

Just so you dont think i'm some kind of toyota radio hoarder....

as long as it works properly, especially the cassette deck (i've had plenty of radios that worked great, yet the cassette deck didnt work) $5 is well worth it

 

Yeah when I pulled this one I know the radio for sure worked, can't really confirm about the casette though as I don't think I tried it. Worst comes to worse I'll just refund your money and you can keep the thing to chop it or do whatever.
