Hi everyone, I will be receiving my Cornfed lift for my '06 4Runner early next week and was hoping to getting them installed that weekend. I do not really have the tools, garage or knowledge to get this done. I was wondering if anyone is willing to help me out? Maybe we can have a small meet where several members need help getting things done? I'll provide all the food and beer for any helping hands. Thanks.

 

Man I would help ya but the only free weekend I have is the 27th I'm sure you don't want to wait that long so hopefully others will chime in.

I'm located in Irvine, but don't mind traveling to the LA area. Thank you very much for the offer. If no one can help, I guess I can wait until May 27th. My birthday is on Memorial Day (29th), so that'd be an awesome brithday gift.

 

oops I meant I'm free on the 20th but not the 27th (somehow I thought mem day was the 20th).

 

If you guys stay local I might be able to stop by... not sure though. Girlfriend is busy during the week as am I so she kind of monopolizes my weekends.

 

We will most likely have the wrenchathon this Saturday if anyone is interested in joining us.

Ok I can join ya sat morning but it has to be early sat morning as I can only be there until noonish. Just let me know where you want to get together. I'll drop by in my commuter car as my 4runner will be in a tear down mode from the previous weekend trip I had.

Cool. We were deciding if we should have it on Sunday instead because another member couldn't make it on Saturday, but I think we will have it whichever day you can make it since YOU ARE THE PRO.

 

Not sure about the "PRO" part by any means. I'm just gonna be there to give ya hand when you get stuck. I'd like to stay clean as possible

Sadly, Satuday's the only free day I have right now. Hopefully you guys can do it on Sat as it'll be better for me.

Tie Rod Puller (Free at Autozone w/ CC deposit)
Coil Compressor (Free at Autozone w/ CC deposit)
Cotter Pins ($5 bucks for the multisized package)

i have a good machanic in garden grove thats cheep and he can get your parts installed fast....it's called vodies in garden grove off garden grove Blvd
