Geez! So now I learn that your name is Tracy and you are not the Donna and then I could have possibly had my money sent to you stolen or cashed by the wrong person in which I insured it to go to with a tracking number and priority mailing envelope from the usps post office and then it doesnt even get to the Donna? Ok, well I just feel very let down and I think I need to go back to saving my money to buy computer parts and watch more closely as maybe I need to invest in firewall and computer protecktion so I can be infested with the forum buggers from the ants nest in which they come from which means the forum masters must use not enough bug killer but maybe since my friends have a bug killing company we could work out a contract between the Yotatech forum masters and the metric system if things are on the same tangent you know? I am not sure but we should run this by the Donna for her ideas and then maybe everyone can mail me postcards to where you mailed my bumper to TRACY(now that I know) cause the bumper came to the correct address but then it didnt fit and then I tried to form it with a heat gun seeing that it was pretty thick but it was a hot summer day and a high powered heat gun but the heat gun stopped working before I was able to fix the bumper so I traded it in on some taffy and then gave the rest of the profit to my friend who made a VERY nice score on the rhino lining rhinocerous to come line it with his goodss and now the bumper is welded to part of a lawn mower trailer that I tow behind my 4Runner to carry my collection of the Yotatech Stickers and license plate frames. Yes, it seems crystal clear now. Ok, thank you for the explaining of things, now I must get to work again for the day but call my wife and tell me daughter happy 9th birthday cause I just remembered if you know what I mean so THREAD BACK TO THE TIRES
Steve(yes this is my name Steve and my brother is the guy in the rain man movie with the cruz and he is very good at numbers and taught me all I know you know?)

I have the 285/75/16's with a 3.5" lift. Those didn't even fit without rubbing... close, but no cigar. I removed parts, shaved valences and body overhangs, but still no go. So, I ordered a body lift that isn't in yet, but they should fit fine after it's installed. You shoul have serious issues with rubbing with even bigger tires. The wider they are, the more they will rub. Mine is a 11.5" wide and you're talking about adding another inch. Mine only rub while compressing into a driveway or something of that sort... your will rub whenever you trun the wheels. I wouldn't recommend getting the bigger tires... but if you must, BODY LIFT TIME for that Taco!
Here is a thread about my truck with photos of the rubbing spot!

Good luck. Let us know how it looks when it's done. BTW - have you ordered your YotaTech.com sticker yet? You should sport one on your rig and support the group!

Good comic relief for a hard day.

Hi, not to belittle your experience with rubbing, but the subject is tires that fit on a 2005. 285/75/16" tires fit on my 05 with 2.5 inches of lift with absolutely no body rubbing at all. Pics of my truck with this setup are above in this thread.
