Rear Coil Spacer Question (2004 V8 Sport)
I have the 3" Toytec Ultimate setup with 5100 Billies and coil overs in the front with the front maxed out. I am just shy 2" higher in the front than the rear and am looking to balance it out and was looking at a rear coil spacer to raise it. I was told that you could not do that or it was not recommended but I read on this forum that many have done so with the FJ coils, stock coils etc. I know the simple solution would be to lower the front but I would like to keep it at the higher setting due to a larger offset on the rims and spydertrax all the way around to keep the BFG's from rubbing.
Is there any reason (safety???) that I could not just put a 1.5 or 2.0 spacer solution on the coil to level it out? Thank you for your input....

I don't see any issues with it. Plenty of jeepers do it on TJs and JKs. I helped a buddy put daystar spacers in the back of his 04 last month. Took 30 minutes or so to do. He put 5100's f/r with the front at the highest setting (stock coil, not coilover, 2.25") and it sits level.
Biggest thing people recommend against is spacers up front.
Here are a couple pics of it from this weekend.
