Multi Information Compute Display

I like to monitor the "Range" on my display. I have noticed that once in a while when I fill up my tank the Range does not reset; but it does reset w/ the next fill-up. However, the last 4 or 5 times I have filled it doesn't reset at all.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

I think maybe the "Reset" button but I think that will reset all the computer information (eg Avg MPG) and I only want to "reset" the "Range" calculation.

After refilling for the 6th time the computer re-set. I noticed taking the key out of the ingnition when re-fueling helps to re-set the computer.......

I always take the key out of the ignition when I leave the truck while filling up gas. I guess it's just habit and I don't want anyone able to just drive off while I'm stuck holding the pump...
