Hey, just a quick question for you guys & girls. My parents 2003 4runner has the a blinking A/C light. I did a search and found out this is a common problem with '03 & '04 4runners. Then Toyota updated the relay after that. So we are picking up a relay from toyota for about $68, which from what others posted is not a bad price. I just want to know, do we have to do anything special when we replace the relay? (ie disconnect the battery, etc). I don't want to fry anything by accident. Thanks!

 

You probably don't have to disconnect the battery, but always better safe than sorry. I would disconnect it just to be safe, and it might reset the A/C system somehow?
