Our 2003 4Runner (V8) had a bad shift actuator and had no transmission response whatsoever. We took out the actuator, pushed the rods into the tranny and the car drives...obviously NOT in LO 4WD but in HI. The problem now....the new actuator came with new rods installed...we can't get the old rods out, nor can we remove the ones in the new actuator. Other than that, the car runs well! LOL Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
