I have a 2003 GX470 and would love to disable the DRL's/Parking Lights (Orange). These lights act as the turn signals as well. The dealership says it cannot be done. The dealership is full of crap. I have seen GX470's with them off. I know one way to get around this problem would to buy different bulbs. Does anyone know another alternative.

 

Safest way is via scantool...

You should be given a complimentary first service from your dealership,which includes a list of personal settings. The DRL bypass may not be on the paper listing you're given so you'll have to tell the service writer.

With that said I believe only the stealer can do this for you.
