Guys i need a lil help/advice

I have a 2003 TOYOTA 4RUNNER V-6 4.0 I hate the roll or sway when I turn or change lanes , and the nose diving when I stop.I'm thinking of getting her lifted to level her out but also to maybe get a lil more clearance under the vehicle, I do a bit of Flyfishing and hunting where i use four wheel drive in greasy mud and have also to cross washouts that cross the road.i have never done a lift and i'm not interested in making a monster truck or rock crawler, just want to be able to do a lift and not ruin my suspension or tierods,cv joints and such.i have a 95 that sits way higher stock with no lift and also is stiffer but i have to wait to get heads done and money for that will have to wait a few months,so for now i want to get my new 4RUNNER lifted a lil bit.Any help, i been looking at revtek and old man emu, but like i said i havent a clue what to look for or get.
Please help
Rick

I have a Skyjacker 3" lift. It came with new struts up front, and new springs and shocks in the rear. The cost was around $750, and it was easy to install.

My now truck handles and tows so much better. It was well worth the money.

I have an OME lift that was around 700. It was pretty easy to install, did it in one day with help from my father and brother in-law. The only difficult part is getting the front struts put back together as you need to compress the springs.

This link http://www.toyota120.com/ome_lift.HTM shows how to install everything. Although he doesn't show you how to compress the springs, I think he states that he took his to a local shop and them rebuild the struts.

note: when you disconnecting the link from the stabilizer bar there is a hex screw in the center that you need to hold in order to remove the nut. It took me a while to figure that one out...

Anyway, I am very happy with my OME lift.

I'm going with the Donahoe (ICON) coil overs in front to level out the truck. we'll see if the back needs anything later, possibly when the stock rears give out. I do some mild trail riding in some pretty good mud and ice. no real problems i can think of unless you're getting hung up. Ditch your running boards if you have'nt already.
