With the coil pre-loaded does it make the ride super harsh in the front? How much of the daystar lift is preload spacer and how much is top spacer?

I've been considering the Donahoe Coilovers for my 4WD 2004 4Runner. Donahoe's website recommends not setting the front higher than 2.5", due to concerns over CV angle. Would I be able to set them up all the way up to 3.5" if I used a drop kit for the front diff without damaging the CVs?
