Engine shuttering after ignition

I recently had an ODB code read for a cylinder 4 misfire, where I was experiencing a shuttering of the engine (low RPM) in idle just after ignition. Once i turn the engine on and give it a little juice the shuttering settles out and I get a normal idle.
Recently changed all my plugs and the issue went away temporarily... I had my CEL, VSC TRAC & VSC OFF come on again yesterday and when I read out the codes I had a total of 18 codes come up (most of which were duplicates)! The three I narrowed it down to are as follows:

1. Cam Shaft Sensor error
2. Catalytic Converter error
3. Cylinder 4 misfire (AGAIN)

I have contemplated just going ahead with changing all my coils and wire sets out to see if that remedies the issue, but the CAT error has me a bit worried when paired with the CAM sensor being iffy.
Could it be possible the DIS system is throwing off the injector sync? Or, just bad injectors/coils/cam sensor? I recently had an ABS Software Update done (via recall) from my local dealer- could this be the reason I am getting these issues (maybe they messed something up in the computer)?
I get the feeling the CAM sensor may be the culprit, but I want to be sure before I start getting to work...

Any help would be CRUCIAL as I am quite worried about getting on the interstate with these types of issues floating around.
