Duck's 2009 taco.

Hey everyone, some of you may remember me having a thread asking some questions about a new tacoma.

Well, the 09s came in at the dealership and we went looking, then for a test drive, and you can guess what happend next.

Ended up with a 2009 crew cab, TRD, long box, auto in the black sand pearl. I know the black is terrible for showing scratches, but it just looks too damn sexy when it's clean.

And beside her older sister:

Hey, you're from Cranbrook! Cool!
Very nice truck you have there. My dad is thinking of getting a newer vehicle soon and I'm trying to convince him to get a new taco.
Got any plans for it yet?

Thanks guys, no plans yet, she's going to be a street queen for a while. But after it's paid off a small lift and some more agressive tires will fit the bill.

Ahh, the benifits of living at home, it's been a long time pondering and figuring out exactly what I wanted, but it was all worth it in the end.

Very nice Taco, congrats! The DC long bed TRD Sport is fairly rare around here. It would be my choice for mild off-roading and safer wet pavement driving with it's standard LSD...and that of course makes it a prime candidate for the new TRD S/C! Good luck with it.

Sweet. But you will absolutely soil yourself when you comeback from wheeling, and none of the scratches come off...

I have the same paint and the scratches buff out using Griot's pads, polish and wax with a random orbital buffer.

Good luck in keeping it clean with a dirt road as your driveway.

nice looking truck! look into a daystar spacer kit to lift it up front alittle bit to get rid of the 60's rake it has going on and your set!

Thanks for the comments, and thank you BT17R for the tip on keeping the paint sexy.

Shancerlelby, I'll look into the spacer kit.

Mods and taking her off the streets won't happen for a while, as she has less than 100kms on her right now.
