Adding a rear spoiler to an '04...

Who has done this??? Was it hard? Any drilling? I tried the "search" function, and found nothing, maybe not the right "keyword"? Thanks.

One question, why? I know it seems mean to ask that, but spoilers are rare in the Yotatech forums. Unless your'e turning your rig into a street truck.

Bottom line is, this is not a great place to search for spoilers, it is very hard to find and time consuming.

you might have more luck finding help about that over at http://toyota-4runner.org just because there are more 4th gens over there.

(but i doubt that the mod is hard, and hope you find your answer!)

Cuz my wife wants it...
The 4Runner is hers, I have a Taco that I wheel. The 4Runner is for the street, and carrying the little people. She liked the look with the rear spoiler when we bought it but we couldn't afford the package when we got it.

Yea, beware of the dealer, that can charge through the roof on this one. Also, the dealer spoiler has to be drilled, this one doesn't.

It doesn't? But here is a quote from the ad for the part you're selling:

The rear spoiler mounts with four bolts, and drilling is required. Wiring is simply a positive and negative wire tap or wire splice -very easy.

It says drilling is required ..
