4th Gen-Rear Ride Height Too High?

I have a 2003 4th generation 4Runner. Everything is stock. I noticed that my rear end sits like a giraffe. The wheel well is 39" from the ground. The distance between the tire and the wheel well is 10".

I have rear air suspension.

I also have used the car as a tow vehicle.

Any ideas?? Or is this normal?

Thanks

This is normal by design. Many do not like the nose down look so they level their 4runner by adding spacers to the front.

I put a 1" spacer in the front of mine. cornfed made it for me. Easy to install and looks much better now. My wife even comments on how weird others look. My mom just bought an 04 and she is going to have me put a spacer in hers as well.

best one I have right now

Hmmm..something sounds wrong here. Your stock right? No suspension lift, no body lift, no bigger wheels or tires? I have a OME suspension setup (approx 3") plus a 1.5" body lift plus slightly higher tires giving me a height from ground to fender lip of 41". Your only 2" away from that! That doesn't sound stock to me. I'll have to look up my records and see if I recorded my original stock height, but I thought it was around 36".

Not a dumb question at all. But the air suspension is not set on high.
